Ryan Day pays emotional tribute to Dwayne Haskins on anniversary of QB's death in brutal truck hit
Ohio State head football coach Ryan Day paid tribute to late quarterback Dwayne Haskins on the 3-year anniversary of his passing on Wednesday with an emotional social media post. Haskins, a former Buckeye and first-round pick of the Washington Commanders, was fatally struck by a dump truck along a Florida highway in April 2022 and died at 24. Day coaches Haskins in 2017 and 2018 as his position coach before becoming the full-time head coach of the Buckeyes.
